Muscle: It's 'what's for dinner'

So now, according to Heidi Diaz at Kimkins, it's okay for your body to eat it's own muscle tissue for protein.

Yep. You read that right!

Here's a recent inside Kimkins post from Heidi - Kimmer - to her Pinky Swear Challenge group:

Heidi: Re: Kimmer's "Pinky Swear" Challenge 2008! Don't think of excuses to fail. Think of reasons to succeed!xxxxx - Yep, nobody has ever asked me about protein intake and the number of doctors I've had through various neighborhood, insurance and HMO changes is probably close to 50. Remember a few weeks ago when I felt "different" when I woke up with my 11 day TOM? I'm diabetic and nobody at the ER asked me what I had eaten. Here's one that's even better: after my gastric surgery the surgeon saw me twice to check that I was healing OK (this was the old days with the 14" incision). He never ordered blood work afterward. Then again if the surgery works and you're eating way less, you're losing quickly. As you lose weight you need less muscle to support the smaller body and that unneeded muscle atrophies and is used for protein requirements. What a nice topic for Tuesday morning, LOL!

As usual, Kimmer is telling a half-truth. In cases of extreme dieting like Kimkins, a person's body may began feeding on it's own muscle tissue in an effort to survive. But, it's not a 'healthy' part of dieting as Kimmer suggests. It's dangerous, even deadly. This is the kind of advice people are paying $79 dollars for at Kimkins.

The truth about Kimkins is: IT DOESN'T WORK. Just look at the various recent photos of Heidi "Kimmer" Diaz on the web, some from a court deposition she gave. If she cannot follow her own plan and make it work, how can anyone else?

But, that's not going to stop Heidi from trying. No ma'am. She wants your $$ too much, even in the face of a class-action lawsuit. That's why she's trying to keep her "Pinky Swear Challenge" going, just so long as SHE doesn't have to play by the rules she's set for other people.

Heidi hasn't posted any kind of stats on herself in the challenge for months. But, she goes on to demand "accountability" from others.

Heidi: Ladies, if this is a challenge we need stats. Lose, gain, it doesn't
matter. Accountability is important! Try to get your numbers in this Friday.
xxxxxx is sweet enough to keep track for us -- let's keep her busy!

Here's a challenge for you Heidi: Show potential new members at Kimkins your real stats and see if the truth works as well for you as your fake success story pictures.

That's some really scary stuff. If she believed all this stuff was true and safe and effective, she should be thin. She's emotionally abusing people with her lies and guilt trips.

Her eating disorder diet are why I want to see her shut down. Fortunately, her unrepentant fraud will be the tool to make it happen.

I can't believe this woman is able to promote this kind of garbage. On the one hand she faults medical doctors for sub standard care, and in the next breath promotes self cannibalization. Unbelievable!
