I don't recommend fiber pills because they're only 1 fiber gram each. A
better way is with vegetables or Fibersure. Here's a blog piece about getting 18 daily grams of fiber from vegetables: If you're going to begin fiber supplements of any kind be sure to drink extra water.
Wow. Don't go all warm and fuzzy on us, Kimmer! And, just what medical training gives you the knowledge to "not recommend" fiber pills? Last time I checked, there was no M.D. following your name.

I am just starting on day 3 of
K/E and really wanted to do the 2 weeks, what if I did a small amount of veggies
would that. K/E is just meat and eggs. I dunno I am confused. I've been staying
under 20 carbs a day, and it is hard to hit 800 calories when just
eating meat when I am not hungry! I did have string cheese
yesterday....hmmm guess if I have a small salad with low carb dressing that
should be okay to add in...anyway thanks for listening, just trying to figure
things out!

You can get to 800 calories a day with meat/chicken/eggs:1 medium cooked
chicken breast 280 calories1 4 oz cooked ground turkey patty 193 calories1 6 oz
can tuna packed in water 220 calories2 boiled eggs 193 calories. The
above foods = 840 calories. My suggestion would be to add more veggies
if you're concerned with fiber, choose less protein (the above example provides
200% of our daily protein requirement) and not focus on calories. Build small
meals with a portion of protein, a portion of veggies, zero calorie beverages
and a good daily multivitamin (I'm partial to Centrum or generic equivalents).
You might like wraps which are small, quick and portable. Keep asking.
Why 'keep asking' Kimmer? All you have to offer anyone is a broken record we've all heard before! 840 calories amounts to starvation! Could you explain why you keep encouraging people to starve themselves when even you cannot stick to your own plan?
Note: Thank you to the sources who make it possible for me to show what's really going on inside Kimkins.

I agree that it's low fat and not low fiber that's more of a problem for constipation. Not to mention that 800 cals don't produce that much waste.
K/E doesn't have vegies so why is Heidi's answer to add vegies?
I agree with you and Mariasol. Your body can't eliminate what it doesn't take in. 800 calories is not enough to fuel the body properly. It's not enough for basal needs such as heart function, respiration, body temperature, etc. Lean muscle is lost when eating this way (the heart is a muscle, folks).
Does Kimmer even KNOW how many vegetables you need to eat to get that much fiber? WAY more than she allows, that's for sure!
not only that magicsmom there are very few veggies that are all fiber so the carb total to get 18 grams of fiber would be well over the kimkins 20 limit.
Did y'all catch Kimmer saying the above menu is 200% of "OUR" recommned protein limit. is that a kimkins recomended protein limit cause the daily protein requirement is based on a persons size and will vary for every memeber of the site.
Since according to fitday that protein value for those foods comes to 140 grams and fat isn't adaquet the low carbier will be converting much of said protein to gluocse I hope they are a flyweight
cause that just barely meets Kimmers protein needs IF fats in her diet were adaquet.
Thank God she knows we're watching or she'd have whipped out the laxative advice! I consider that a huge victory.
You can't get 18g fiber from vegetables on Kimkins, let alone K/E. Duh. Even she should know that. I noticed this biologically starving dieter is expected to give up some of her food for that fiber. Can yall guess what the advice will be when the protein goes down, the carbs go up, and the scale bounces around? Give up something more, of course.
If the theory re Heidi's coprophilia is valid, could it be that she intentionally made the Kimkins diet inadequate in fiber, and thereby setting up the conditions needed to induce her victims to talk to her about the subject of their bowel functions?

And thank YOU, Mayberryfan, for making it possible for the entire antiKK community to finally know what's really going on inside your head.
