I don't recommend fiber pills because they're only 1 fiber gram each. A
better way is with vegetables or Fibersure. Here's a blog piece about getting 18 daily grams of fiber from vegetables: If you're going to begin fiber supplements of any kind be sure to drink extra water.
Wow. Don't go all warm and fuzzy on us, Kimmer! And, just what medical training gives you the knowledge to "not recommend" fiber pills? Last time I checked, there was no M.D. following your name.

I am just starting on day 3 of
K/E and really wanted to do the 2 weeks, what if I did a small amount of veggies
would that. K/E is just meat and eggs. I dunno I am confused. I've been staying
under 20 carbs a day, and it is hard to hit 800 calories when just
eating meat when I am not hungry! I did have string cheese
yesterday....hmmm guess if I have a small salad with low carb dressing that
should be okay to add in...anyway thanks for listening, just trying to figure
things out!

You can get to 800 calories a day with meat/chicken/eggs:1 medium cooked
chicken breast 280 calories1 4 oz cooked ground turkey patty 193 calories1 6 oz
can tuna packed in water 220 calories2 boiled eggs 193 calories. The
above foods = 840 calories. My suggestion would be to add more veggies
if you're concerned with fiber, choose less protein (the above example provides
200% of our daily protein requirement) and not focus on calories. Build small
meals with a portion of protein, a portion of veggies, zero calorie beverages
and a good daily multivitamin (I'm partial to Centrum or generic equivalents).
You might like wraps which are small, quick and portable. Keep asking.
Why 'keep asking' Kimmer? All you have to offer anyone is a broken record we've all heard before! 840 calories amounts to starvation! Could you explain why you keep encouraging people to starve themselves when even you cannot stick to your own plan?
